W. Charles Hughes

Throughout Mr. Hughes’s career he has handled a wide variety of cases and participated in many bench and jury trials in various civil practice areas. With his Florida Bar Business Litigation Board Certification, Mr. Hughes is a specialist in the area of business litigation, and has experience representing both small and large businesses in resolving their disputes.

Mr. Hughes is a member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the James C. Adkins, Jr. American Inn of Court and has served as a member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. Mr. Hughes also has an “AV” peer review rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the highest rating available. He is admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

While not at work, Mr. Hughes enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Ewa. He also is an avid Gator fan and attends many University of Florida sporting events.

• Mr. Siegel & Mr. Hughes obtained and collected a judgment after trial of nearly $500,000.00 for a founding partner who the court found was improperly ejected from a partnership.
• All partners in the firm collectively represented local real estate agents in a commission dispute with their broker and obtained and collected a judgment in excess of $1.4 million dollars.
